"The great thing about booking [Flintlock Theatre] for a workshop is that you always know it's going to go down a storm...with all ages, from small child to retired adult, they always love it!"
Beth Flintoff - Outreach Director, Watermill Theatre
"Flintlock Theatre gave our students an outstanding master-class in physical theatre. Their energy, innovation and ideas were invaluable for our students as they prepare for their devised practical assessments in GCSE and A Level Drama. We look forward to inviting them back soon."
Drama Dept., Cokethorpe School
"The physical theatre workshop was highly energetic, innovative and informative. The A Level students were inspired by all the physical games, advice on character building and strategies for devising theatre. Robin's easy manner and sense of humour worked wonders with the students! I will definitely be inviting him back into school very soon to develop this work further. "
Katie Turner - Head of Drama, Desborough College
A rigorous approach to text and a leaning towards physical storytelling over technical wizardry, are both defining features of our work, and the workshops we offer complement this style. Workshops are normally led by Robin Colyer or Anna Glynn and can be tailored to suit the needs of the group. We normally finish each workshop with a Q&A session, which gives students an opportunity to get answers to their own questions about the work or about the professional theatre industry in general. Workshops typically last 90-120mins, although we're can also offer longer sessions.
